| Open Heaven Room |

An open heaven is also known as a portal of glory where there is direct access to God. Our Open
Heavens room is patterned after the vision of John described in Revelation 4:1-3:
After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I
had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, "Come up here, and I will show you what
must take place after this." At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in
heaven with someone sitting on it. And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and
carnelian. A rainbow, resembling an emerald, encircled the throne.

In the center of the open heaven painted on the
ceiling is a fixture made of stones. We have
selected red, to represent the carnelian, for this
reminds us of the blood of Christ that washes away
our sins when we receive Him into our hearts. As we
are filled with His love, the clear stones (jasper)
become the living waters that flow up and out of us
onto others so that they can receive salvation,
causing His glory to fill the earth. Christ in you, the
hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)

Ezekiel:

like that of a man. From his waist up, he looked like
gleaming amber, flickering like a fire. And from his waist
down, he looked like a burning flame, shining with
splendor. All around him was a glowing halo, like a rainbow
shining through the clouds. This was the way the glory of
the Lord appeared to me. (Ezekiel 1:26-28)
Each corner of the room has fabric flowing from the ceiling
to the floor. This fabric represents the vision of Isaiah:
I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and
the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were
seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered
their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two
they were flying. And they were calling to one another:
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is
full of his glory."
(Isaiah 6:1-3)

On the walls around the room are seven candles which speak to the
sevenfold expressions of the Holy Spirit manifested through Jesus, as
found in the Book of Isaiah:
A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him--
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of power,
the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord
Isaiah 11:1-2
sevenfold expressions of the Holy Spirit manifested through Jesus, as
found in the Book of Isaiah:

The Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all
things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26
We have received His promise. The Holy Spirit rests within every believer as does His Spirit of
Wisdom and Understanding. He is our Spirit of Counsel and Power. As we grow in His Spirit of
Knowledge, we can’t help but know the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord.
Our prayer has been answered in that the Prayer Center has truly become an open heaven - a
portal of glory - where seekers can experience His Glory on earth as it is in heaven.
