| Praying God's Promises Integrity |
| To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. Proverbs 21:3 Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the Lord, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken. Psalm 15:1-5 Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord without wavering. Test me, O Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in your truth. Psalm 26:1-3 Let my eyes look straight ahead, fix my gaze directly before you. Make level paths for my feet and take only ways that are firm. I will not swerve to the right or the left; keep my foot from evil. Proverbs 4:25-27 Personalized The integrity of the upright guides me, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death. The righteousness of the blameless makes a straight way for me, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness. Proverbs 11:3-5 Personalized The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him. Proverbs 20:7 My lips will not speak wickedness, and my tongue will utter no deceit. . . till I die, I will not deny my integrity. I will maintain my righteousness and never let go of it; my conscience will not reproach me as long as I live. Job 27:4-6 I will walk righteously and speak what is right, who rejects gain from extortion and keep my hand from accepting bribes, who stops my ears against plots of murder and shuts my eyes against contemplating evil — because this is the man who will dwell on the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress. His bread will be supplied, and water will not fail him. Isaiah 33:15-16 Personalized I will not judge, or I too will be judged. For in the same way I judge others, I will be judged, and with the measure I use, it will be measured to me. Why do I look at the speck of sawdust in my brother's eye a nd pay no attention to the plank in my own eye? How can I say to my brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in my own eye? First I will take the plank out of my own eye, and then I will see clearly to remove the speck from my brother's eye. Matthew 7:1-5 Personalized |
